Sarah Hiner is publisher and COO of Bottom Line Publications, responsible for the content of their 6 publications and dozens of books. After 25 years as a marketing and operations professional Sarah created and edited Bottom Line’s first electronic health newsletter, Bottom Line’s Daily Health News. As daughter of the founder of Bottom Line, Sarah has been working for the company and committed to their customers since she was 12 years old.
Sarah had her eyes opened to the problems with our healthcare system in 1998 when she landed in the emergency room of her local hospital with hives from head to toe and chest pains. The doctors were treating her the way they knew best which was to use pharmaceuticals to suppress each of her symptoms. However, even with the drugs prescribed to her, she still suffered from hives until she reached out to a different type of doctor.
Bottom Line’s extensive index of expert sources included a Naturopathic Physician, Dr. Andrew Rubman, who had a reputation for “curing the incurable”—within a year following Dr. Rubman’s treatment that included with some dietary changes and use of natural supplements and therapies, Sarah was hive free.
Sarah’s own personal experience made her realize the importance of integrated or collaborative medicine and that people need to understand that there are other options than just drugs and surgery to solve health problems. And, most importantly, the power that everyone has over creating both sickness and wellness for themselves.
With Bottom Line On Your Health, Sarah brings the Bottom Line philosophy of individual advocacy to a whole new audience, giving them both sides of the answers to their health questions, and teaching them that they are their own best advocates. Sarah’s on a mission to create a healthier planet by providing their readers with the health information they need to create a life of wellness.
